Libraries of Kasimov district held a series of exciting and informative events for children and adults during the New Year holidays.

In the first days of school holidays, the staff of the Elatomsky Library invited students from the school camp to the New Year's Serpentine competitive game program. The children learned about the traditions of celebrating the New Year in other countries, with pleasure they took part in mobile and intellectual contests: “Aybolit”, “Snowflakes”, “Collect snowballs”, “On the broomstick”, “Chiming clock”, “Monkeys on the vine” and etc. The event was fun and interesting.

On December 30, the Kletinsky Library hosted the New Year's Matinee in the form of a theatrical play program in which not only children but also their parents took part, and the main characters were: Brownie, Baba Yaga, Father Frost and Snow Maiden.

On January 3, the Tokarev Library, together with the Tokarevsky KFOR, conducted a New Year program with the fabulous characters “Have Fun, Kids! On January 5, the Tasha's Library hosted the celebration "With Russian enthusiasm in Russian expanses," the program of which consisted of folk games.
